Robert Ray Urenda II
Robert Urenda is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. In 2010, Mr. Urenda received his Bachelor's Degree from Tulane University majoring in Political Science and minoring in Spanish. In 2013, Mr. Urenda earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Urenda participated in the school's immigration clinic where he had the opportunity to gain clinical experience in immigration law, experience which inspired him to become an immigration attorney. Prior to joining Chavez & Valko, LLP, Mr. Urenda received a fellowship to work at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) in Westminster, Colorado, a non-profit specializing in removal defense for detained individuals. Afterwards, Mr. Urenda worked at two Dallas area law firms that focused in immigration law. He assisted clients with a range of immigration matters and successfully represented clients in removal proceedings at the Dallas Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Mr. Urenda is fluent in English and Spanish.
Mr. Urenda is a Dallas native. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cycling, cross country running, and exploring his hometown.
