Consultation

We offer consultations from licensed immigration attorneys for $60. From this first consultation you can expect that we will review your facts as presented and provide a recommendation based on your situation. It is important that we analyze the case carefully in order to accurately determine your options, develop strategies, and anticipate any potential pitfalls. If applicable, we will also quote legal and filing fees, and provide you information on how to retain our services.  If you retain our law firm to represent you on the day of your consultation, we will gladly credit the entire consultation fee toward the cost of your case.

Because our law office receives numerous requests for consultations, such consultations are reserved for individuals or business owners / representatives who are interested in obtaining legal services to handle their immigration case(s). If you have a question about immigration procedure in general and do not desire legal assistance, we recommend that you look over our website or click on one of our helpful links for information.

Consultations do not form an attorney-client relationship until our law office is retained by you or the company for legal services.

To set up a consultation you may contact us by phone or send us an email request to arrange for the following type of consultation:

TELEPHONIC CONSULTATION

After you contact us, our staff will coordinate a date and time for you to discuss your case by phone with one of our attorneys.  It does not matter where you live or reside, our law firm processes immigration cases from across the nation and world (1-888-562-0398).  We are fully-authorized to consult with individuals and businesses throughout the United States regarding immigration and naturalization matters.

It is recommended that you send us immigration documents that are important to your case by fax or e-mail (for example, a denial notice or judicial decision).  At the time of interview, we may request that such documentation be sent over to us a later time to adequately assess your situation.  Maximum time for initial consultation:  30 minutes.

IN-PERSON CONSULTATION

If you reside in the Dallas or Fort Worth area, our law firm has office locations in both areas for your convenience.  In-person consultations are by appointment only.  Contact an office closest to you to schedule an interview. Please bring with you all immigration documents related to your case.

Dallas Area:  214-251-8011

Fort Worth Area:  817-332-1100

E-MAIL CONSULTATION

If you rather send us an e-mail, please include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and thoroughly describe your case and immigration history, or information about the person you are inquiring about.  Our attorneys may elect to send you a comprehensive questionnaire if needed, or send you a brief response depending on the type of question and case.  After you receive a reply from the attorney, you may follow-up with a set of questions.  Thereafter, the attorney will email you a final response or recommendation.

You may send your initial email via “Request Consultation” link or to info@keyvisa.com.

LEGAL REPORTS

Please note that immigration law can be very complex (which is why we only practice this area of law) and your legal issues may require further analysis, or a legal report.  A legal report is an analytical review of your facts cross-referenced by the latest law, regulation or interpretation that provides legal options available as they relate to your case.   Although we will attempt to readily answer your questions or concerns utilizing our experience and knowledge in immigration, periodically there are cases which require an in-depth look to determine whether a legal option can be initiated or not.   It is similar to going to a physician’s office with complex symptoms and asking the doctor whether she can provide an accurate diagnosis without a proper lab test, blood sample or medical culture.  Obviously, the doctor will need to conduct a medical report.

We will inform you if a legal report is required or recommended at the time of our consultation.  The benefit of a legal report is that you have an immigration attorney taking the time (sometimes hours) carefully reviewing your case and referring to the latest laws on the topic.   A legal report is then drafted and you will receive a final report for your records and review.   If you engage our services for a legal report, the full amount of that fee will be credited to the legal fees for certain immigration options ultimately chosen from the legal report.  Legal reports are at a reasonable flat-fee rate depending on the complexity of the case.  Processing times are estimated at the time of the consultation.
